From the first day you walk into our offices, Matthew is passionate about helping ensure the relationship you form with us is both fulfilling and long-lasting.

A graduate of the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Matthew went to work in the retirement sector right out of college. A chance encounter on a golf course led to a job offer at a new firm, where he discovered his true passion: financial planning. “It was a blessing. I was able to see firsthand why I was in this line of work and was grateful to find my calling,” Matthew recalled.

In 2013, Matthew branched out on his own and founded Davis Financial Group, a decision he “wouldn’t change for the world.” He is laser focused on helping retirees and pre-retirees preserve what they’ve worked so hard to earn over the years, creating custom-tailored and tax-efficient strategies that help them optimize their retirement lifestyle. Matthew is a financial professional who can offer investment and insurance products and services.

Matthew resides in Hernando with his wife, Valerie, and their “wild little firecracker” daughter, Harper. When he’s away from the office, Matthew enjoys boating, playing golf with his buddies and spending time with his family at their North Florida ranch.
